  • In the heart of Richmond is a great coffee house and restaurant. The Urban Farmhouse has great breakfasts and very good espresso drinks (the large latte comes with 4 shots as it should). Wifi and plenty of tables to get comfortable with big windows providing a nice view of old Richmond. It's right across the street from La Grotta Ristorante a good Italian restaurant for later in the night. A definite stop when in Richmond Va.

EXTREMELY MISLEADING & nothing like expected. Walked into sticky, dirty floors. We had a crawling baby & toddler, so we immediately had to clean. All our socks turned black on the bottoms. Walls were scraped up & covered in fingerprints everywhere. I’ve never seen anything like it. The kitchen table was scratched up, dining chairs & tables wobbled. Dishwasher was broken, so a plumber came during our stay and was in the kitchen for hours with water & tools everywhere, even parked in our spot. We found hair on the bedspread. The outdoor area looked NOTHING like the pictures. Chipped paint, debris everywhere, cigarette butts on the railing, no privacy & completely run down. We chose this place for the outdoor space & it was such a letdown. There was a constant weed smell from neighbors next door. The area was not a nice part of Richmond. The upstairs bathroom faucet was loose and pulling off the vanity. SO disappointing. It looks beautiful online but is far from what’s described or pictured. I ALWAYS leave good reviews. I believe in building up businesses, but I had to be honest to hold this owner accountable for the guests they host & VRBO for the properties they advertise. I shared our experience from arrival with the owners & received a basic reply, “sorry for the inconvenience,” saying it was a flip & they “may have missed some things.” Cleanliness should never be missed, especially when we pay a cleaning fee. We left it cleaner than we found it. DO BETTER. Extremely unhappy

Everything about this property was fantastic! Matt was an amazing host, super kind and quick to respond to any messages. The space was clean, well-organized, and beautifully set up. We especially loved the backyard, the firepit and sauna were incredible amenities. The living room was cozy and stocked with plenty of fun board games, and there were more than enough beds for our group. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely love to come back in the future!

I booked this home for my daughter's 16th, Teen approval beautiful home, location and friendly neighbors. Very clean, immediate response and welcoming messages from the host. I most definitely recommend for family fun. Loaded with games, game room. We play games for quality time and engagement. The pictures do no justice the space and view is immaculate, beautiful settings down to the decor and amenities and everything you need there for household stay. 10/10

Wonderful home away from home in RVA

We had a fantastic here while in Richmond for my son's wedding. The location was convenient to all of our events downtown and in nearby areas.The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and fully stocked with everything we needed. When we had a couple of small questions during our stay, Matt was quick to respond and incredibly helpful.This is a wonderful place to stay in Richmond, and we would absolutely book again.

Weekend in Richmond with Friends in Dogtown

For being a place with no reviews and us being the 1st guests in the house, not gonna lie my group was a little hesitant, but this place was simply perfect. Everything was done right. Perfect for a family get away with a bunk bed room, or a friend group that has a little friend for the top bunk. Unfortunately we were only in Richmond for 2 nights so we didn’t get to use all the features that were given to us. If you need a place to stay in Richmond or any surrounding areas, Dogtown is your place!
