Summary:
Secluded Pocono Mountain getaway awaits you at Alpine Skylight. This cozy cabin is located in the height of the Poconos Mountains. Come and enjoy your perfect getaway. Relax and take advantage of the natural skylight views to enjoy nature and wildlife. Make it a movie night while sitting next to the fireplace. This modern cabin is equipped with a full kitchen and stainless appliances. This home sits on 1 acre to explore the outdoors. We offer 3 comfortable bedrooms along with 2 full bathrooms.

The Space:
Our cozy cabin has three generous size bedrooms and 2 Full baths equipped with fresh towels, linens and body wash. Alpine Skylight is located in a wooded mountain area where you can hear nature's vibrations! There is a cozy back deck to ground yourself and to enjoy the scenic views.

Guest Access:
The cabin is about a 1,241 square foot one level ranch that sits on an acre, feel free to explore the property.

Property was very well equipped with activities for all ages/pets. Mattresses are newer. We arrived to a 40⁰ house and 2 logs. No access to rest of wood. Property contact unable to provide correct combo to get more. Took entirety of first night to warm up house/our bodies. Had to make sure pipes hadn't frozen. Stench of old cigarettes/mold from the leaking roof and/or leaking fridge hit us like a wall upon entry. Spent a lot of time coughing/sneezing. Had to go buy kitchen sponge because the only one there had hair/chunks.6 actual plates. 6 more plastic plates and bowls. Chose not to stay in hotel for kitchen. Cant heat up plastic. No fans work - batteries are dead/not in remotes with no back up. Living room fan stuck on. Hard when 40⁰ in house. Couldn't enjoy firepit without wood either. Rusty water spilled on my slippers before ruining my girls dresses for wedding we attended. Back to store to buy iron. Cobwebs in every corner. Towels are tiny (2x3 max)/very old. No doors on showers, so water gets out, contributing to smell. Practically looked at towel hook and it fell out of the wall. Food dripped down cabinets and dirt/food in freezer. A lot could easily be improved with a new cleaning company, 200 and knowledge of the property you're renting out. Not sure how to fix the pungent smell.

Host was very welcoming. Communication was a 10 and so was accommodations. You can feel the experience of the host with all the little things that they think of that's needed. Super pleased and recharged to get back to business Thanks to a beautiful stay. Will return.

Great location. In the mountains, but still close to town. I was there for solo hiking, so I was more interested in easy access to trails. I also tried to time it for foliage change and was a bit early, but the end of my stay did not disappoint for peak viewing. Rented a Slingshot and it was a lot of fun! I also did the Stourbridge train. It was just OK. Great trip overall!

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend for our anniversary. Everything was excellent from start to finish! The house is exactly as shown in the pictures and was the perfect little getaway for us. It's set back in a quiet area of the community, but you're still only about 20mins away from a ton of stuff to do in the area. Communication with the host was always quick and easy and she always responded right away. We had a wonderful weekend and will definitely be booking again the next time we're in the Shawnee area!

What a cute and cozy place to refresh and recharge! The house was very clean and smelled nice upon arriving. It had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The back deck sectional was our favorite part and where we spent the most of our time. The beds and linens were good quality and made for a restful nights sleep. I would certainly come back.

The place was very clean and cozy. We loved how accessible it was to a lot places. We went to the poconos bazaar and the local cafe called “morning brew” and the coffee was excellent. The host replied very quickly and there was no issue during our stay. We would definitely be back. Thank you.

Unfortunately we got in to the place almost an hour after because other than a confirmation that I booked I didn't have any other communication from the property manager. I was supposed to get details two hours ahead and nothing. The number listed for calling in an emergency is always a busy line. I had to call VRBO to get it sorted out. Once inside it had an awful smell in the TV room. Two windows were unlocked which made me feel very unsafe the few days were were there. Kitchen counter had coffee that wasn't wiped up. Will not be staying here again.

Beautiful, cozy cabin

My family and I stayed here for a nice, little fall get away and it was perfect! The cabin was beautiful and just what we were looking for to take in the beautiful fall weather and scenery. The check in process was super easy and efficient and it was a great location on a small mountain with trees and nature all around. It was secluded but not too much where we felt isolated. There were neighbors across the street and a few other houses around, but very peaceful and serene. The cabin itself had comfy beds and some great amenities like a coffee maker, dart board, games, and a nice deck with bbq grill where you could go out and drink your coffee while listening and taking in the sounds of nature all around. And they were welcoming to our furry family members, which was big plus. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice little get-away in the mountains.

Really had a great 3 night stay here. The house was extremely clean and was just like the pictures shown on the listing. Great secluded location, while also being close to everything you'd want to do in the area. Felt very at home and comfortable here, will definitely book again!

Just as advertised, great communication!

Beautiful property. Looks exactly as advertised. I had a small glitch with the AC upon check-in. I messaged them at 6AM on a Saturday and they had someone out to fix it by 10AM that morning! Convenient to local attractions.

Best Stay & Most Thoughtful Hosts!

We had the best time at the Alpine house this weekend. My 14-year-old son said it perfectly when we first got there. He said" Mom, this house has things I didn't even realize I needed!" The house was beautiful inside and out, the decorating was perfect, the furniture was super comfortable, everything was immaculately clean and best of all they were so many thoughtful surprises. Our favorite surprises were the bottle of wine the host left for us to enjoy, the fire wood, kindling and fire starter that the host provided for us to use, filtered water dispenser, and the already made ice and pre-frosted glass in freezer for quick cocktails. The host also provided k cups for the coffee maker which was super convenient! We brought our dog and were so happy to find dog treats, dog bags and dog dishes for him. The house is perfectly located only 12 minutes from Shawnee and the Country Kettle. We also enjoyed playing ping pong and put the karaoke machine to good use. We will definitely stay here again when in the area!
