The Space:
Bilby Park Escape 1 by Tiny Away is situated in the picturesque Black Range countryside, just 23 minutes drive from the renowned Grampians National Park, and only 10 minutes away from Stawell. The farm stay offers both privacy and ample room, making it ideal for two families or groups of friends to enjoy a stay together.
For a memorable escape, enjoy a delectable meal at the Great Western Hotel, savor exquisite wines at Pomonal Estate, engage with wildlife at Halls Gap Zoo, traverse scenic trails at Mackenzie Falls, and unwind in the serene beauty of Silverband Falls.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly compost toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, we also have a second tiny house,"Bilby Park Escape 2," available with 24 hours' notice, ensuring you have even more cozy holiday homes to enjoy.
For your safety, we would like to advise guests that there is a dam nearby and a seasonal creek at the rear of the property.
Guest Access:
Guests can access the tiny home and its surrounding area. The space offers privacy while also being ideal for two families or groups of friends to stay together.
If you're interested we also have tea, coffee, and milk available with prior notice from the host. Along with a few of our additional activities you might enjoy:

The Neighborhood:
Bilby Park Escape 1 by Tiny Away is located in the rural countryside of Black Range, just 23 minutes from the renowned Grampians National Park, and only 10 minutes from Stawell. There are also numerous local cafes, restaurants, and bakeries in Stawell and Halls Gap.
The area boasts several attractions, including Silverband Falls, known for its scenic beauty, and McKenzie Falls, famous for its stunning cascades, as well as outdoor adventures in the Grampians National Park. Visitors can also see native wildlife at Halls Gap Zoo or explore local history through guided tours at J Ward, a former mental asylum turned museum.
Getting Around:
By car:

- 10 minutes from Stawell
- 20 minutes from Ararat
- 3 minutes to Great Western
- 25 minutes from Halls Gap.
By public transport:

- NO PETS ALLOWED
- Gas BBQ Grill is available
- Potable tank water on-site
- A roll of paper towel is provided
- We do have pets but they have their own yard
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- We have Recycling & normal rubbish bins on property
- No open fires and BBQ grills allowed during a fire ban
- No smoking allowed inside, except in designated areas
- Telstra and Optus has good signal and the rest has weak signal
- You are also welcome to use our fly spray as there are bugs in the area
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Important note:
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present.
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the [compost/cassette] toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
