I wanted to love it
Very angry and upset with myself for having to write this review but I feel it's necessary so others are completely aware of the place. The pool, relaxing location, and hot tub are what made this place. I wanted to love the rest of the rental but the rest was a lot of uncleanliness .. ants being the main part of that. My bed was covered in carpenter ants along with the floor of the whole room. I ended up sleeping on the couch to avoid them. thankfully my husband who is recovering from leukemia treatments was able to find an antibiotic free room in the house. I told the owners about it and they said "they must have moved in fast because we didn't see them". this was a lie. I found ant killer under the sink along with lots of ant traps so I'm sure this is an issue they are aware of. The house was generally just very unclean also. the ceilings has cob webs/spider webs in every room. I kind of felt like I was sleeping in a barn. If it weren't for the pool and hot tub I would have been a lot more upset. If you want a clean house this is not for you. If you're just looking for a relaxing rural very cabin like house this is great for you.
