This a nice little house in a quiet neighborhood, where I felt safe, but where I did not feel safe leaving anything in the car overnight. Mostly I felt it was clean, but there was a critically gross area on base of toilet. Like no big deal, until I accidentally dropped something and it ended up falling right there. Also, a lot of hair on the floor. Advice: use a swiffer or vacuum. Wet mops, meh!
Truth in advertising: yes there is a nice sunny patio, as advertised, but the backyard is a junk yard. Just stuff-no garbage.
You do have the whole house, but I would think this implies a reasonably equipped kitchen. There is a working fridge. I dont know if the microwave or oven work. There were no dishes or pots, pans, silvereware or cooking utensils. There was one dish towel.
The unacceptable. One of the beds lacked a blanket. I did not discover this until 10 30 when I meant to go to bed and there were two of us and we dont sleep together. I called Jerome and requested a blanket. He did ask if I meant now, which I did. He brought it, but it was about 45 minutes later, at least. Advice: fully make up the beds when you service the place, then you wont miss something critical like this.
Semi unacceptable: there were two hand towels and one smallish bath towel. For a two bedroom, sleeps three listing. There was shampoo and conditioner. And pre-used bar soap‐with someone else's pubes.
Advice: provide new soap, or body wash or no soap and say you dont provide soap, but dont leave pre used bar soap, ever. If someone else leaves it, throw it out!
The frankly absurd: There were no trash cans or waste baskets.
Finally, the tile is very slick and the bathroom is small, complicated by the fact that the toilet put in the bathroom is too long for the space. This would be a difficult space for anyone large or with difficulty getting around.
It would take a little study or someone to advise you and a little more attention to detail and effort to make this a very nice place, indeed! Say there is a dining patio that is comfortable but doesnt have a great view. Mention the back yard is not pet or child safe nor available for use.
This place was not a disaster, and tolerant travelers with a variety of experience will be happy to get a whole house for the price. If changes are made, I am sure the owner and future guest will let the community know.
