Large group of college friends getting together
We had 15+ people get together for a Friday-Sunday trip and it was fantastic! The house was very clean, the check in/out process was easy, and the host was very accommodating and responsive. The house is well stocked with cutlery, kitchen tools, shampoo/conditioner, towels, etc. If there is something you need the house likely has it. The beds were comfortable and the bunk room was great to hold a large group of us. We had a lot of fun playing ping pong. We visited in March so the pool wasn’t open and it was too snowy to use the grill or outdoor patio, but all of that looked lovely. I would highly recommend staying here for families with young kids or as a group of adults.

Leadership Retreat
Mike and Michelle do an amazing job! Great place for a retreat. Everything is up to date. Furniture and beds are comfortable. Quiet neighborhood. We love the place! It was our 3rd stay. Planning on staying hear for our retreat next year.

Perfect for large family gatherings
The house worked beautifully for our large family reunion! The primary bedroom is spacious, the apartment was perfect for the family with 18 month old twins and the bunk and game rooms were a big hit for the tweens in the group. We enjoyed having family meals at the large table comfortable for our group of 16. Owner very responsive. Highly recommend this property.

This property was fantastic! Pictures of inside and out were accurate, house was clean, nicely decorated, spacious and comfortable for all. Everyone that stayed loved it! The “dining hall” was perfect for meal time as well as game time! Wished we could have stayed longer in preset to take advantage of the great backyard as well. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!!

Christmas gift getaway
We had a wonderful stay, at this amazing home with gorgeous property. The entire family enjoyed the time spent there, making memories. Just a short drive to several area highlights. Retro boats, Saugatuk dune rides, and Dunes state park to list a few. Loved every minute of our getaway.

Great place!
We stayed here for my friend's bachelorette party and it was the perfect place for it! The huge table gave us a place to all sit and eat meals together and there was more than enough room for everyone. Great place!

Summer Splashy Splendor
An overall terrific time enjoyed by our family of 16. Plenty of room with ideal amenities, spacious kitchen and dining areas and a comfortable “bunkhouse” for the kids! The pool and lake/beach proximity were added exclamation points, providing fantastic memories! A special anniversary celebration enjoyed at a splendid location!

Great long weekend
It was a beautiful, well kept house with a beautiful kitchen and numerous bedrooms. The area is beautiful. We had six adults and six children from 4 to 15 years old. We had a great time at the nearby beach and in the pool. The local towns are charming. The grill worked perfectly.

Fantastic Getaway
We had a family of 20 staying at this location. It was perfect for us. Everyone spent a great amount of time outdoors in the pool, backyard, and around the fire pits. The back porch with the large table was perfect for meals. The apartment was such a good idea for us because we had an infant, and it gave that family an opportunity to have a quiet place to be. We enjoyed the activities in the surrounding areas as well. Lots of things to do. Lastly, the management was very considerate. They responded almost immediately to any questions or concerns we had and always kept us informed about lawn and pool care appointments ahead of time. We would love to go back.

Beautiful property! Great family fun!
Our family of 11 loved everything about this property! The home is clean and spacious. It was great having two refrigerators and a large dining table for our group. We all loved the heated pool, gas fire pit and huge yard. The kids loved the bunk room and bean bag chairs. The quiet, secluded location is wonderful. There are so many fun things to do nearby...nature preserve, beach, U-pick blueberries, Fenn Valley Winery, Crane's Pie Pantry and the Art Barn. Saugatuck, Douglas and Fennville are a short drive away. Great communication with the owner/manager! We highly recommend this property!

Annual family trip
Our group of 14 loved staying in this comfortable and spacious home. Having forgotten to reserve our usual spot, we wondered how we would like the new house. As it turns out, everyone is on board to come back next year! We especially loved the heated pool, easy walk to the lake, backyard lawn for games, dining room table and outdoor gas fire pit. The layout of the home is great for our family of various ages to have spots for quiet afternoon naps while others are continuing to play. Definitely doesn’t feel like a rental. It’s great being close enough to all the downtown fun of Saugatuck/Douglas without having to stay in the thick of it. Thanks for helping us continue our tradition of making summertime memories in Michigan!

Great time!
There was very little not to love about the property. Loved the pool, the 20 person dining table, large yard, and bunk room for kids in the basement. Had a problem one day with the pool heater and the property owner responded promptly and fixed the issue quickly. The property is very isolated with woods on each side and a large buffer area- you cannot even see a neighbors house. However, there must be a least one nasty neighbor as there are fences up and no trespassing signs everywhere. We received a message from the owner that a neighbor was complaining that someone was on their property- was not any of our group, but somebody that lives close is touchy. Just be aware of the situation and do not stray past the fence. Overall was great and would certainly rent again!

The perfect guys weekend
The property was awesome, from the community table for dinner to the game room, to the screened in patio, to the heated pool to the plenty of bedroom space for all. My group loved it. It’s a bonus that the location is a walk away from the trail to Lake Michigan. Enough parking space for 13 individual cars and the lack of neighbors was amazing too. I would love to stay here again. It’s a great house in a great area.

Wonderful family/friend lake MI vacation
Really excellent home. Location was very close to everything as stated. House was so big and we had 18 people at one point. We all had a great time in the pool and playing tons of games all over the house. The wifi was sometimes a bit unreliable, but otherwise all was excellent. Service was excellent, as well.

Family Vacation
This was the 2nd time we stayed at this house and it was wonderful! The pool was a big hit…again. We also enjoyed Oval Beach, a sand dune ride and the Mermaid restaurant. Definitely 5 stars.

This private home with a pool was the perfect meet up spot for a few midwestern families. The pool was very well secured for having little kids there and the bunk room, game room and fire pit were all big hits!

Fennville "Family Resort"
Our week at the Fennville house was a wonderful experience, from my first communication with MIke the owner, thru pulling out of the driveway to leave. The house was exactly as pictured and described - and suited the 19 in our family perfectly. From our spacious master suite to the grandkids bunkroom, it was all top notch. The swimming pool was bigger than we expected, and saw action from dawn to dusk. We enjoyed close proximity to Lake Michigan, accessible by a easy trail or nearby county park. We enjoyed the short drives to a number of recreational areas, trails, beaches, and fun communities providing lots of enjoyable activities. We didn't encounter any problems with the home during our week, but Mike was always quick to respond to the questions we did have. This home was the best we have rented!

Large family gathering
We recently spent a week at this beautiful property with our kids and grandkids ages 4-70. The space provided the ability for all of us to eat together on the wonderful dining porch and sit together around the firepit, but also to find "space" to be alone. The teens loved the bunk room. We enjoyed the pool and were thankful it was heated. There was a problem with the heater one day and the owner came within the hour and fixed it. The lot is very private and beautifully wooded. We were able to hike from the property to Lake Michigan and drove to the local park to watch sunsets in the evening. We enjoyed a boat ride on "Star of Saugatuck" and strolling the area. The owner was friendly, responsive and provided all the information we needed. Loved this property and we are frequent VRBO flyers! We would consider a return trip. Jill Hawk

This home was a wonderful fit for our family of seventeen. This was the first time we rented a home with a pool and we will probably not rent a home without one in the future. Such fun for kids of all ages and for some little ones, in a pool for the first time. The house was clean and had perfect accommodations for all. We made time to visit Saugatuck, Oval Beach, the dune ride, and several pies from Cranes Pie Pantry. Cooking meals at the house was easily done using the fully equipped kitchen, nice outside grill, and the longest table I’ve ever seen in a house that could seat 20 people. Mike and Joel were very attentive and easy to work with. Highly recommend this home.

Peaceful Getaway
This vacation rental home exceeded our expectations. The pictures are exactly what the home looks like. The furnishings in the bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The adults and children all enjoyed the pool and fire pit area. There was ample room in the yard for the kids to throw a ball and adults to play corn hole. We will definitely rent this home again should the occasion arise.

An amazing property
A small circle of friend and I spent a weekend at this place along with our families. The property was fairly new and very well maintained. Lots of space for kids to run around and have fun. The weather was nice on the weekend of our stay and hence we could use the backyard even though it was in early March. Well though out layout and facilities by the owner. They even kept fresh towels which was uncommon in such stays. A coupe of items which could help improve the experience was that the third garage was unusable as it was filled with construction materials. The bathroom door locks were absent or non functional in 2 Instances, but could be managed and not deal breakers at all. Overall we enjoyed our stay and rated it as one of the best.

Great isolated place
If you are looking for a quiet, secluded place, this is perfect for you! We rented in the winter but with the pool it would be great for the summer as well. Only downside was that the WiFi was not reliable. Works but slow (satellite based) Mike was a great host and very responsive!

We rented the property with three families. Kids ranged in age from 6-11. The home had something for everyone! The kids loved the games, bunk room, yard and proximity to outdoor trails. The dining porch was great for a big, group meal. The house was spotless and beds very comfortable. Owner was very accessible and checked in to make sure we had what we need.

Wonderful Experience!
We rented Mike’s property for a combined bachelor/ette party. The house was the perfect size and was in the most amazing location. We loved playing card games and eating meals at the large family table. We also enjoyed visiting the beach, seeing the fall trees, and going to Crane’s Pie Pantry. Mike made sure we had everything we needed and even texted to check-in when we arrived. I highly recommend renting this property for your next large gathering!

My birthday getaway!
My daughter and couple of my friends spent few days celebrating my birthday in this beautiful home . It was very clean, spacious, and the kitchen was well equipped. The host was great and he was reachable via text or phone call . My favorite time was relaxing in the backyard area by the heated pool. Evenings were spent barbecuing and relaxing by one of the 2 fire pits . It was quiet, and tranquil, but also only 10 minutes away from downtown Saugutuck where we enjoyed all the little shops and outdoor cafes. I would definitely recommended this beautiful property and we are coming back soon !!! I give the host and property 5 *****

What a find in Fennville
My 15 sorority sisters and I enjoyed this property for a small reunion in September. The property was perfect for us and we enjoyed it immensely. Everything we needed was provided and there was enough room for us to either be together or in separate areas. The pool was wonderful and the patio with the gas firepit was handy and easy to use. Mike and Joel were a pleasure to work with and were very responsive with all of our questions. We will hopefully do this again next year!

Would recommend this property. Property was nice and accommodated our family size comfortably. It was located within distance of Saugatuck, Sourh Haven and Holland. The outdoor space in the backyard is very nice with pool and fire pit options. We did use the grill as well. The one item noticed was bathroom in apartment needs attention. The toilet isn’t secured to the floor and it rocks.
