Welcome to our Mountain Shadows Home, located at the foothills of the Colorado Rocky’s. Just West of Colorado Springs, we are about 8 miles or a 15-minute drive to downtown Colorado Springs. We are surrounded by Colorado natural beauty, but still not far from amazing places in Colorado Springs. The Air Force Academy is only 6 miles to the south gate which is about a 10-minute ride. Garden of the Gods is only 3.5 miles from us and approximately a 5-minute drive. If you are looking for a 5 bedroom house close to Colorado Springs, yet still in the beautiful Colorado nature, this is the house for you.
There is also a BBQ on the deck overlooking a field where the local foxes like to hunt for mice, don't worry there is a fence around the property. From the deck, there is seating for 15 people and you will be able to view Colorado at its best, the deck is also covered, just in case a summer thunderstorm comes through, you can still enjoy the pure force of a Colorado storm from the safety of the deck or inside. Inside is a dining table as well that can seat 6 people. Complimentary coffee/tea, creamer, and sugar are provided.
Wifi is provided on the site. With a beautiful back yard that opens up into the Colorado wilderness with many walking trails to take, you probably will have too much fun being outside to remember the Wifi inside. Whether you are wanting to hang out inside at the house or enjoy the many outdoor actives that Colorado offers, there is always something to do. We suggest checking out the nightlife in Downtown Colorado Springs, in the summer there is always something going on. Whether you are a city person or a mountain person the location of the house will satisfy both desires.
This property is cleaned with disinfectant that is effective against coronavirus. Between stays, all towels and bedding are washed in water that’s at least 60°C/140°F. Guests are able to check in and check out without any person-to-person contact.

We highly recommend that you have a car when staying with us, public transport is not an option. Uber taxies are possible but a bit on the pricey side.
