A three hour drive from the lovely Oslo Gardemoen airport, though (mostly under) the centre of Oslo, brought us to the beautiful Nutheim Gjestgiveri hotel, tucked into a hairpin bend on the E38 between Oslo and Kristiansand. On one had this makes the hotel very easy to find. On the other hand it means there is some traffic noise, although it didn’t bother us at all.
The car park had three charging points for electric vehicles and our room was a good size with a view down the valley through some trees.
The grounds of the property are quite extensive and, with the gallery, offer plenty of opportunity to explore.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was outstanding.
Highly recommended.
