"Wouldn’t stay again. The first room I got, had a toilet and shower that had a strong smell of urine! The staff was sweet and gave me another room, which was better. With that said, the new room had lamella based beds and the lamella were missing different places. The carpet was not vacuumed, there were old trash in the room, the window did not close, and there were several spiderwebs (I don’t mind spiderwebs, but it’s a part of cleaning to remove such webs in my opinion). "This is a pretty hotel and the staff was very nice. You are about 2 blocks uphill from the town center. The room was clean when I checked in. I gave them 4 stars for cleaning because they only partly cleaned in between night 1 and 2. I recommend you do not rent a car unless you know you are driving somewhere out of town. You will not use your car to go to town and most excursions either leave from downtown or pick you up at your hotel. You can park at the hotel for a fee but it is a tight...

"It was such a great stay with you guys!! The breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and beautiful, location was very handy for going to city centre and gondola area and staff were very nice and friendly!! The only thing it was ashamed about was the view. Our room was next to the road/car park, hence we couldn’t enjoy the beautiful views of Queenstown from the room. However, it was absolutely an awesome night and experience!! Thank you very very much!!"

"Location is very nice and central and price was fine too. But rooms are very small and worn. And there is absolutely no isolation whatsoever. It sounded like the person upstairs was moving around furniture. Great for backpackers and if you are staying up all night anyways but it is really loud when people are drinking outside. "

"From start to finish our stay at the Lodge was the perfect family vacation! Nyleen was amazing as our concierge. So helpful and responsive. The Lodge was immaculate. The grounds so lush and well maintained. The restaurants served delicious food with local twists. The pool was our perfect end of the day spot- never wanted to leave! Shhhhh- almost don’t want to post so it could be a secret. "

"Great location. Rooms a bit old. Only one bed and the sleeping could was not suited for sleeping as you could feel every single spring, so not a comfortable sleep. Great children’s pool and also another one for adults. "The Hotel was in excellent condition and staff extremely helpful with a couple of minor issue we had with the washer dryer set up. We did notice some noise from the front sliding door whenever they opened and closed below our room but not too bad once it was later. Overall pretty good. "
