"Very clean, comfortably and attractively decorated, super comfortable bed. The neighborhood was very quiet. Easy access to Gore and Croydon Reserve. Short walk to a Four Square. Kitchen had plenty of appliances/utensils/cookware. Plenty of space for a family, but when my kids were younger I would have been anxious about messing up the lightly colored furniture and carpet. It was just my husband and I- it felt very decadent to have so much space, including a pleasant outdoor eating/sitting area....

"Amazing kitchen facilities, with everything you need to cook and drink. Teas and coffee selections with so many choices. Lovely unit with generous bedroom, pillows and space for your suitcase, clothes etc. Good bathroom though I did find the shower floor a bit slippery when wet. Check in process a breeze and lots of information to hand regarding what to do in and around Orewa. Lovely decor and felt very homely and welcoming. "

"Communication with the host was great and we really appreciated the early check-in. The house was as pictured - great for 2 or 3 people, but not really enough comfortable seating for more. Very handy to Manukau and a quiet neighbourhood. It's on the flight path but we weren't bothered by that. The beds we used were very comfortable, with extra bedding provided. The shower pressure isn't great but there was plenty of hot water. The main downside and the reason we didn't give 5 stars was the lack...

"This place is a great - hosts are amazing people. They are intelligent, passionate, flexible, and friendly. Sunsrise view is great. Incredibly safe environment. You really feel like you have a degree of quiet separation from the bustle of Hilo that is only a short drive away. So best of both worlds. The tradeoff is that the village access does require a short drive on unpaved roads. So prepare mentally that this is a slightly more secluded location. You get a simple but thoughtfully...

"I really liked the accommodations about this wonderful a little place we stayed at on the big island it was like a little Oasis nice and private tucked up overlooking the ocean and all the beautiful Hawaii vegetation very quiet and had a lot of relaxation"
