"Absolutely magical. North Shore Camping Co. is our new favorite place to getaway. It was the perfect blend of adventure and comfort. The tälts were so cool - stylish, cozy, and well thought-out. The amenities were top-notch, and the beautifully lit paths at night made the whole experience feel like a dream. We’re from a northern suburb of Minneapolis and already planning to come back regularly. This place made us fall in love with the Boreal forest and the breathtaking beauty of Lake Superior....

"We had a great stay at the Funky Turtle. The house was clean and just enough space for my family of 5. The house is close to campground bathrooms if the occasional extra bathroom is needed. We enjoyed the fire pit, use of the grill, and sitting on the porch. Our only complaint is about the noise but it was clear from the map that the campground was located near an interstate. "Staying in this yurt felt like stepping into a Disney movie. I saw deer and rabbits, heard sandhill cranes, and walked the trails the owners had cleared through the woods. The yurt was incredibly well thought out, with everything you might need: A heater, a fan, a one-burner stove, drinking water, and even a clever sink setup with a spigot and basin. And the outhouse - honestly, I've never wanted to linger in an outhouse before, but this one was so nice! It's beautifully lit up outside...

"Owners obviously put a lot of thought and effort into making this a lovely and comfortable place to stay. We were able to witness spectacular sunsets from the the deck surrounding our tent. Be aware that this is dark country, so a local rooster will wake you up early! Only reasons for the 4 stars above: one of the restrooms was out-of-order, so we did not get private restroom as advertised. It wasn’t a big deal, though. Also, would recommend owners mow grass more frequently as walking through...

"Had an amazing stay in this cozy yurt, perfectly tucked away in nature. Peaceful, private, and far from the city’s hustle - an ideal getaway. The place had all the essentials, blending comfort with a rustic charm. Big thanks to our wonderful host, Billy, for making the experience even better. Highly recommend!"
