"I don’t normally like leaving reviews. Clean spacious rooms, friendly and helpful host. The lounge had 2 leather sofas and my bedroom had a wooden floor with sheepskins on the floor, (the other 3 bedrooms had carpet) I would have preferred to have the comfort of fabric sofas and a carpeted bedroom, but I know that most people probably wouldn’t be bothered about that. "We had a wonderful week staying in Hindburn cottage at Jan and Duncan's converted farmyard. You're surrounded by greenery and nature and can even say hello to goats, ducks and sheep in the grounds. The accommodation had everything we needed, a full kitchen, decent bed, and instant hot water for the shower. The online guide from Jan and Duncan covered all our questions and had several great ideas for places to eat, visit, and for country walks. Even better, they're truly one of the nicest couples...
