"Came for a red rocks concert. Great place to stay. The pictures are accurate. Older but clean and comfortable. We had fun reminiscing about some of the old appliances and dishes from our grandma’s house growing up. Highlight was the blue heron rookery across the way. Loved watching the birds from the dining room. Binoculars included! Close to Denver but feels secluded and off the beaten path. "

"We had a great time with my mother and sons for July 4th weekend. Callaway is close near by right down the road with tons of stuff for kids to do. The house was clean and beautiful. We had a family of six and fit perfectly. The lake is amazing you can fish right of the bank. Thanks so much for having us would recommend to all! "

"Convenient access to main areas of Yosemite. We enjoyed the pool table and hot tub after a day of hiking. Very peaceful area with lots of natural beauty. "

"I really enjoyed staying at the Owl Getaway and didn't want to leave when my time was up. It was a perfect little place to get away: Secluded and quiet (except for being able to hear traffic on the road above - though it doesn't get a lot of traffic). The screened-in porch among the trees is great! The listing is literal when it says "shower only" for the bathroom: It not only means no tub, but that the sink is in the kitchen. I'll also say that I did drink the tap water, too, in case anyone is...
