"We stayed at Playa Caracol Resort for one week. While the beach and natural surroundings were beautiful, our overall experience was disappointing due to the location and transportation challenges. The resort is quite remote and is best suited for guests with their own vehicle. We arrived at Panama City Airport and paid $100 for a taxi to the resort. The trip took about two hours. "The property was exactly as described. The place was spacious and perfect if you are looking for a private space to relax. Because of the hurricane we lost a night but were reimbursed by the property as promised without any hassle at all. When reading the reviews it was mentioned that the low ceiling could be an issue, I did find out that that is true but otherwise the place was fantastic!"
