"We loved the condo & resort! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant & snack bar was very good. We also enjoyed the swim up bar. The resort had different activities during the week, which were a lot of fun. My daughters got a massage and they really enjoyed that! The condo was big, the beds and pillows were very comfortable. I liked that the 2nd bedroom had 2 queen beds and there was a second sink in the main bedroom. If someone was taking a shower I could still get...

"This is the most well-equipped apartment we've ever stayed in. The beds were comfortable. We didn't use the outside spaces due to the humidity but they were lovely.We had an issue with one of the toilets during our stay but this was resolved by the host within an hour of us notifying them. I can't get a plumber that quickly at home :)Our only recommendation is maybe a darker curtain for the main bedroom as there's a street light across the road.Location is close enough to Avenue 5 to be walkable...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you would need for cooking. The patio was nice to sit on and enjoy the ocean view. We appreciated the laundry in the unit as well. Small touches like books to read and pool floats were unexpected and very nice to have. "

Security guys mandatory to check-in in the garage place (not easy to find because no inscription). Very peaceful the night even sounds from Quinta Avenida. We do not hear any loud music. Others people peaceful. Great place. Our best quality/price until now in Playa del Carmen. "

"This property is in a great location, just off 5th Ave, and is in a somewhat quieter area than that south of Constitution, while being a comfortable walk to that area. Additionally, it is within a 10-15 minute walk to the beaches off Calle 72 and 88. The unit itself is well apportioned with a washer/dryer which is a luxury when staying more than a week or so, which I have done twice, 3 and 4 weeks respectively. Are, the property manager is responsive to your needs, for example a ceiling fan...

"Our family had a lovely week staying at Dawn’s Xaman Ha condo. It was exactly as described with a beautiful view of the pool and ocean from our patio. Dawn was a very responsive host. We had one small issue with parking which she helped us resolve quickly. We would definitely recommend this listing and would not hesitate to return."

I am just guessing on the history but given that we are literally connected to the ferry pier, this small condo development might have been part of the very first development in playa del Carmen. The rest of the development on the first floor has fallen on hard times with most of the shops closed but luckily that includes the hard Rock Cafe and Senior frogs.
