"Excellent place. The operator (BRIC) was attentive to our request. Everything is nearby. Dishwasher didn't work properly but it's common in this place. Laundry worked perfectly. Security guys mandatory to check-in in the garage place (not easy to find because no inscription). Very peaceful the night even sounds from Quinta Avenida. We do not hear any loud music. Others people peaceful. Great place. Our best quality/price until now in Playa del Carmen. "

"Overall it was a nice stay, we travel to PDC very often. The property needs some TLC. The toilets have a hard time flushing, the beds are extra firm, and there are multiple tiles missing from pool. The apartment itself is decent and the location is awesome. Communication with the agent and staff was spot on. "

I am just guessing on the history but given that we are literally connected to the ferry pier, this small condo development might have been part of the very first development in playa del Carmen. The rest of the development on the first floor has fallen on hard times with most of the shops closed but luckily that includes the hard Rock Cafe and Senior frogs. "This was a great honeymoon get away. The location was perfect, the condo had all the amenities we need for our 6 day stay including a washer and dryer. The view was great out the large windows facing the water, with electric shades to keep sun out during sunrise to sleep in and privacy."

Several annoying issues, such as, elevators not functioning, problems with air conditioning and hot water resets, intermittent internet seemed to be “building or area related”.
