"A long road trip to Maine required an overnight stay to break up the drive. I chose Colby Hill Inn over any chain hotel for its promising charm, mostly and restaurant. The building is old and dated but therein lies its charm. Rooms are clean and the beds very comfortable. There are parlors on the first floor where a TV can be found. "The house exceeded all expectations. I can’t possibly say enough about this place. It’s perfectly located, perfectly clean, perfect layout. We didn’t have kids but had we, it would have felt extremely welcoming. Plenty of room, super clean, great temperature control inside, the bedding was top-notch, access to a grill…. Seriously awesome. The owners were excellent with communication. I’ve travelled the world and they, again, were top brass."

"We had a lovely stay at the King Hill Cottage, and loved being so close to the cute town of New London. The house had everything we needed, the layout was perfect for three generations of family, including a little loft and hang out space underneath that our toddler absolutely loved (and claimed as "his loft!") The fire pit area at the back of the house added a great space for the family to relax. We would absolutely rent again! "

"We enjoyed our weekend stay! The room was very clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and the amazing view. Yes, the walls were thin and at times we could hear the next room, however most people are respectful of the quiet times posted and the room had a sound machine.
