"The property was clean and well kept. The outside was cleared enough to park and walk around the house but enough flora was kept to keep the birds around for easy viewing. The interior was clean and well laid out. The kitchen was stocked well enough to prepare dinner and all appliances worked. The screened porch was most enjoyable and the swing turned out to be our favorite spot. Good views, easy access to the beach and close proximity to the ferry are a big plus. There is a military live fire...

"Another wonderful week in Davis............despite a few days of unsettled weather. This was our 3rd stay at Sound Escape. "The photos and description are completely misleading. Photos are several years old from a realtor's listing in 2022 and apparently no upkeep has taken place since then. A few rooms were tolerably clean but there is exposed rat poison beside pots and pans, clutter and debris, half used food in the fridge and cupboards, etc., etc. We've filed a 9 page complaint with VRBO including lots of pictures asking for a refund. "
