"Hello, We stay Friday - Monday over Labor Day weekend. I wanted to see Cape Lookout. We took the ferry over on Saturday, which was just a short quick ride to the ferry dock from the house. We did purchase our tickets before going and the Ferries were sold out that afternoon. The restaurant across the street was wonderful. We had 2 dinners over there. Sunday we took a day trip to Beaufort, a 24-minute drive from the property. The beds were super comfy and the place was very clean. Looks just...

"Looks can be deceiving. The exterior doesn't match the interior. The interior was clean, spacious and modern. It is about a mile from the downtown area, so we trailered our golf cart which was a huge benefit. They do provide bicycles if you don't have a golf cart. We would stay here again."

"We've been staying at the Oriental Inn and Marina for years and wanted to try something different. We are so glad that we did! We met so many wonderful people. The screened in porch was our favorite place to relax with a drink and watch the boats come and go. My wife was also able to get a massage at the Harborview Day Spa just downstairs. "June, the property manager, was awesome! I think if we’d have brought mosquito spray and mucking boots due to heavy moisture in the area, it would have been perfect. Nice quiet spot for my husband and I and tons to do in the area."

"This was our second time staying here and it was just as lovely as the first time. We were a little early for fishing but we still tried our best down at the dock! The ducks were migrating north and one day we must've seen thousands of them flying by in a flock for over 30 minutes. It was really interesting and so beautiful- and our dog enjoyed watching them from the dock. If you're looking for a cozy, quaint cottage in a laid back little town, this is the place for you! "Perfect location of cottage to get away for a relaxing break. Quiet. Peaceful. Isolated. Views of water, beautiful sunsets and sounds of wildlife at nighttime. The screened in porch is perfect for relaxation. The cottage is very pretty!"

"My company moved me from Down East to Atlanta last year and this was a great spot for our Spring Break trip back to the coast. There was plenty of space for all of us (I have 2 20-something and 1 high school age sons). The location was great, and the host was fantastic. We will be booking this place again on our next visit, hopefully soon!"
