"Best stay ever"

"The hostel is cosy and social. It’s not a party hostel, but people do socialise in the kitchen. The beds are the drawback here - they are rickety and every time someone moves in their bed, you can hear the springs. Also my bed moved every time the guy in the top bunk rolled around. I’m 193cm and couldn’t stretch out in the bed. Difficult to sleep. If you value your sleep, find another place. "

"Very dirty hostel in a very noisy area"

"The staff is very nice and helpful. They work hard to keep the place clean. However, some guests were not very respectful in the shared areas (dirty dishes on the counter for hours, very loud music, toilet paper everywhere in the shared bathrooms). The bed was very confortable and I was glad to have access to a big locker. The hostel is perfectly situated to easily go everywhere on foot or by bus/tram/train. I would highly recommend this place to solo travellers."

"Very clean! Not the Best place for meeting other travellers but great for seeing Sydney. Walking distance to most sights incl Opera House. Staff very kind, internet good. Enough showers. Very quiet in the dorms."

"The people at the reception were nice and overall the staff is really friendly. Cockroaches were keeping us company during the lonely nights, and the fridge kept leaking ; the bathroom was dirty as well - we would be inebriated with weed smell on a daily basis, and whilst we wouldn't normally care, this was too much even for us. We understand it's a hostel, we really do, but the hygiene standards we require are not as high as the people that kept smoking in the courtyard."
