"Small but efficient room for an overnight stay. Easy access walking to the supermarket and for coffee etc. Glenn was very kind and we were greeted by a wonderfully fluffy and friendly cat as well!"

"Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Auch auf den Betten haben wir sehr gut geschlafen, es gab unterschiedliche Kopfkissen zur Auswahl. Der Holzfußboden knarrt leider ein wenig, dafür verbreitet er eine angenehme wohnliche Atmosphäre. Die Lage ist für einen aktiven Urlaub, auf dem man viel herumkommen möchte ideal. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, gute Restaurants sowie ein Fish and Chips sind zu Fuß in 5 bis max. 10 Minuten erreichbar. In einer anderen Rezension wurde der...

"Cottage is in a stunning location with great views to Skye. It's the perfect choice if you're looking for a quiet location that offers great privacy. It's well equipped, and co-op is only a 5min drive away. I would recommend it."

House is in a quiet location but with easy access to shops, walks and local sites. The views from most rooms are spectacular and change throughout the day, depending on the weather. "We stayed in the cottage for 2 weeks in July 2025 and had a very comfortable holiday, partly exploring and walking the different spots across the peninsula, on southern Skye and in Kintail and partly sat just watching the world (and the dolphins) go by from the super sun room. This is such a great find and particularly helpful to be allowed to bring our dog"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Malt House. It was a it is described on VRBO. We were a group of 4 and found the upstairs living space and the downstairs bedrooms/bathroom to work great. The Malt House is 5 minutes walking from Portree center. Try Antlers and Sea Breezes for dinner but make reservations. We had outstanding dinners at both restaurants. The Tour Skye, Best of Skye Day Tour was everything you would need to see the sights of the Isle of Syke. It's an incredible island!!!"

"This cottage is wonderful. It is superbly appointed, incredibly warm, and has beautiful linen on the beds and furnishings throughout. We spent three nights here, and honestly, you could easily stay for seven. Leaving was incredibly hard. Thank you, Jacqui, for a hospitable stay. "
