Location was great for exploring Snaefellness but not too far away from Reykjavik to discourage golden circle activities. Road is pretty easy to find, don’t need 4x4 but take it slow. "Erla's cozy red cottage was in the perfect place for us to get to after arriving early in Reykjavik. We were easily able to get to the things we wanted to see and do...Borgarnes and the Snefellsnes Penn. The house was spotless, the living area was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. We so enjoyed the hot tub after a long day witnessing the magic of Iceland. We would have stayed longer if there had been more days available."

"It is a very helpful and nice couple who rent out this beautiful house on their plot. The location and views are beautiful and the house contains what you need to have a great stay. There is no TV which was no problem for us and the fireplace can not be used, which was the only thing we missed."

"Skuli was a superb host. He communicated with us several days before our stay and walked us through every step of check-in. His daughter, Christelle, met us in Reykjavik and drove out, leading the way to their home. She was available to answer any questions about how to work the appliances, etc. She was very helpful. The beds were comfortable, the home was pleasant with a well-stocked kitchen, including spices. A big perk was having a washing machine/dryer in the home. Skuli even supplied...

"Great location and quiet setting, close to nature. Good condition of the cabins, although we could not figure out the TV signals - not our priority since we wanted to experience the outdoors. Everything else works well and you feel comfortable. On the dow side, the mosquitoes wouldn't allow us to sleep well. Suggest replacing windows blinds with a darker color to provide shade at night during Summer."
