"We enjoyed our stay in a bus. The location is beautiful located just next to a fjeld, and it just looked stunning. We slept 4 in the bus, and used the shared toilets and showers. It is an easy short car ride from Reykjavik, and we also did a daytrip through the golden circle from here. The campsite has cats and chicken, and we enjoyed their “visits”. We spend two nights, and would probably feel it was too small for more days, but for a short stay, it was very nice. And it truly is a unique location."

"The start of our stay was very good. Friendly and helpful service and we could even borrow slippers to go out to the hot tub. The room was very spacious and even the bathroom was large. We had a nice time in the natural spring hot tub with a calming view. Unfortunatly our stay went downhill when it came to dinner. We ordered fish and one of them came with bones in it, which got stuck in the throat and coughed up. It’s a very serious and dangerous situation. We informed the staff, but still had to pay full price for the fish, and the rest of the night was ruined. This incident required an assesment at the hospital the following day by a specialist to make sure there wasn’t anything still stuck and to access the damge done to the esophagus. "
