"What an absolute delight Kangaroo House was! Charles and Jill were the sweetest hosts one could hope for, the property was very accommodating of any special needs, and any issue was taken care of promptly. The room we stayed in (Nuthatch) was perfect for our needs and very quiet and private. Watching the birds on the feeders (and the squirrels sometimes too) in the morning was so peaceful. "This hotel was literally half the price of any others that I looked at. I was traveling alone, so a small room worked just fine. Fridge and microwave in the room. It's about a ten minute walk from the harbor and has plenty of parking. The staff are all SO nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!"

"This resort was a great place to stay...for many reasons. The room was updated, very comfortable and clean. The on-site restaurant was delicious for lunch and dinner. The view is spectacular. And there's a sheltered pool/hot tub. Almost best of all were the friendly, helpful staff. They were so kind to us, and helped ensure we got a spot on the outbound ferry. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there."

"Friendly environment. My wife and I stayed here on our anniversary. The staff were friendly to greet us right upon arrival. We had originally booked the last room available in the inn, but in the end, they gave us an upgrade. The breakfast was fresh and locally made, including with eggs from the chickens on the property. The bread was made with locally-milled flour from neighboring Lopez Island. That's the most local I've had with bread. The property is also a short drive from the charming Roche...
