"Our host as very accommodating and responded to anything we needed. The daylight lower apartment is nicely set up. We could see a little view of trees and the water from the small deck with a surrounding flowering garden.We were able to make meals on the hot plate and small refrigerator provided. A microwave and coffee pot is available too. The bathroom is beautiful and the bed comfortable. It was in a neighborhood, so stores are 20 to 30 minutes away. But we appreciated the quiet and snorkling...

"My family of 4 stayed here for 4 nights. It fit our needs perfect. Very cute a cozy. We spent most days exploring the island and Mongoose Manor gave us a nice place to rest. Great relaxing views. It is a good central spot between Kona and Hilo, especially if you would like to explore both sides separately. Great experience all around."

"The house has a great layout that was comfortable for 6. The views are wonderful, especially the view of the ocean from the deck. It was a very short walk to a quiet little beach which we liked much better than the big-named beaches. The place was easy to keep clean with an outside shower for rinsing off. It’s a bait of a drive for groceries or restaurants, so plan ahead. But the neighborhood is really pretty and this house is beautiful. All around we had a fabulous week. "

"The pictures of the house are accurate but it’s the views while enjoying the front porch that are so special. The cool breeze in a hot day keeps the temperature comfortable.
