"We where pleasantly surprised to realise that it was actually a 1000 year old castle, when we arrived. It was quite impressive and well managed. There was a wedding which added to the charm, without disturbing us. Our junior suite was huge, with royal decor and we felt like being the king and queen of world. "Received excellent customer service, on family-owned and -run, vacation property. The villa resembles a castle on the exterior. Interior is spacious, and spotless. "We had a truly great time at this castle. It was everything we had hoped for during our stay. The castle is updated while keeping a lot of it's original charm. Driving to it was so scenic, with tons of green rolling hills to drive through and an olive tree lined path just before you get to the castle. It is not very far from Siena. And the church bells from the clock tower were very relaxing. Highly recommended."
