"The house is in a great location, less than five minutes from Bayfield, and an easy drive to many orchards.The views of Lake Superior were fantastic! Star gazing was amazing. Communication with the host was exceptional. This place is huge, very clean, well supplied and exceeded our expectations. It was perfect for our family vacation and we would definitely book it again in the future."

"This multi-level house/cabin works well for family and friends to gather on the island. Lots of room inside and outside for potluck dinners and game nights. The basement 2br apartment was especially nice for our son's family with a toddler. The kitchen is well equipped and has excellent appliances. Claire was a great host and responded immediately to all questions. There is excellent storage and lots of refrigerator and freezer space for your island stay, "

"Rented this trailer for a girls weekend. Very clean and budget friendly. It's on the quieter side of the island, which was great for us. The beach is across the street. I must have missed that in the description, but it was a great quiet beach and not a problem once we checked in. "

"The house worked out great for us. We went over to the town park several times and enjoyed the fire pit (calling to check the local fire safety status was new to me but understandable, especially given the amount of wildfires in MN/Canada).It is definitely quieter on the north side of the island which was just right for us. Thanks for letting us use the place!"

"Everything was on point — from communication with owner to the actual stay in the oh-so-charming vintage cabin on madeline island. Who could complain with Lake Superior surf right outside your window? It was the best vacation ever!"

"Everything was great. Check-in was smooth with Larry giving us an overview of how everything works. Kitchen was was well appointed (bring your own spices)Knives could use some sharpening. (I'm fussy) The beach was beautiful, the kids loved doing the steps to get their steps in. I used the lift on the way back up."

"Kitchen was excellently stocked with utensils, dishes, pans etc. and spacious.We could never get the combination for entry to work so used the “hidden” key.Plenty of towels and bedding. Over all plenty of room and furniture.With one bathroom and 6 adults it would be nice to have mirrors in each bedroom.We also grilled on evening.. Nice restaurants and cafe’s available."

"Property was better than expected. Very private, lovely private beach. Gorgeous house with many places to sleep and a great family room to enjoy watching movies. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, soap, shampoo etc. We greatly enjoyed our stay."
