"Close to ocean, house was clean. One bedroom upstairs with living room and kitchen, bathroom other bedroom down stairs with bathroom only. Facing ocean. Beach,every where had lots washed up trees. Could fish on canal side,ocean side have walk out to throw reel are really have have good deep sea fishing rods,reels to throw along way. To get bait have be there early are they will run out bait. "We all had a terrific weekend at Big Fish Haus. The fish were biting really well but mostly small ones. And that’s OK cause they’re fine too. Kids had a little swimming pool and a duck wattled over and got in the pool with one of the little girls. It was great."

"The house is right off the ICW. We had fun in the relaxing environment. I woke up in the morning and had my coffee on the beach then returned to the house and started fishing."

"My birthday fell on Thanksgiving this year (it happens every once in a while) so my wife and I decided to have our three adult children, their spouses and all six of our grandchildren come and stay to celebrate and to give thanks together. My brother, sister-in-law and niece from Boerne, TX joined in the festivities (they stayed in the cottage and LOVED IT). The house was fantastic!!! "Very clean house, nice neighborhood, the hosts replied very quickly to a problem we had, the kids and adults enjoyed swimming and fishing from the pier and the short drive to the beach."

"The property was great. It was perfect for our family having access to the beach and inter coastal without having to leave the home. The fishing was fantastic and my family enjoy walking along the beach collecting sea shells. The only thing that could be improved would be to have curtains or shades on the second story When going to bed we would have to go outside to close the storm shutters to have privacy. We would definitely be coming back."

"We had a blast while staying here. Except the craziest mosquitoes, which has nothing to do with the place/host. I loved the newly remodeled house. The bathroom need a towel hanger, though. And for the readers information, note that there is no internet/wifi connection available. The host made it clear on the list but I didn’t take notice. You will have to use your data/hot spot to use internet or TV. Overall, it was a fun stay. We had fishing for three days and got couple of fish and crabs....
