"This is not an hotel. dirty room, dirty toilet, no air conditioning. i don’t advise no ones to stay in a place as ugly as this. you should think about renting this place as an apartment instead of a hotel. the beds are uncomfortable, the tv doesn’t work. nothing works in this hotel. terrible place. I will not recommend this place to anyone. "

"The front personnel desk at the hotel were very nice and easy to communicate. Very large and clean place to enjoy your stay. My room looked excellent and well organized. I will refer this hotel to anyone that travel to Haiti that needs a safe place to spend sometimes especially close to the airport. I have nothing negative about this place."

"Hotellet ligger som en tropisk oase midt i kaos i Port au Prince. Den store hvide træbygning med gesvejsninger er historisk og flot med en dejlig veranda, som er restaurationen. Vi boede i et nyere rum, Graham Greene, der var rent og nydeligt. Men fjernsynet fungerede ikke og blev ikke lavet i stand, aircondition kunne ikke køle, sengelampen duede ikke og Internettet var nede stort set hele tiden. Svømmepølen havde man ikke lyst til at tage en tur i. Der var ingen cirkulation. I receptionen var...

"Allamanda is without a doubt the place in Port-au-Prince with the best service. The staff is genuinely nice, with a very welcoming and positive attitude and extremely service-minded. I had lost the charger to my macbook and needed to buy i new one. This proved rather difficult, but the staff helped me a lot and after visiting 5 different computer stores in Petionville i finally found it. I haven't experienced such hospitality at any other places in Haiti."
