"A one night stay in the center of London at an affordable price. Our room was on the top floor, facing other buildings and a quiet street, so no stress or fuzz sleeping. The whole layout of the room was fine.
Small, cozy Italian breakfast-place just around the corner. Very close to the Victoria såtation.

"Wow super location with easy walking to Bond and Oxford streets. Also easy walk to Buckingham palace. Many Small cozy Pubs restaurants dot the neighborhood. They don’t show up on the internet but they are there. This is a Vintage property that is well kept, clean but has its quirks too. The reception and housekeeping staff are very friendly and helpful. Plenty of tea, coffee and cookies provided. Would stay there again. "

"Having tried many hotels in London - smaller and larger ones, it is fair to say that the Haymarket hotel is in a different league - service is outstanding, rooms top and decor amazing - what could be slightly better to hit 10 out of 10 would be the breakfast - a little more love into the cockery would do wonders. "Sofitel St. James continues to cater the best service - check-in by Mrs Yee, attention from the Hotel manager were spot on. As a frequent guest it is a pleasure to experience that kind of attention. Had a shirt that needed a rush ironing - Sofitel staff managed to handle it - touché. Rooms are clear, moderns with a british twist, breakfast is tasteful, location-wise is very central without being in a noisy area. Highly recommend it."

"We were a family of 8 staying for the first time at The Emory and all the staff were so welcoming and kind. The hotel itself is fairly new and in a great location across from Hyde Park. The rooms are a great size and the ABC Kitchen restaurant was great for dinner and breakfast. The only down side was the roof top bar which is very small and couldn't accommodate our group size but we enjoyed a drink in the ground floor bar. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We will be back, Thank you"

Nice and central which was fantastic. You could go out, come back for 30 min and go out again, without feeling like you missed any time!
The room was very nice and cozy, albeit a bit small, but I worked great for me and my friend.
The only thing I could comment on, is the facts that it’s very dark in the lobby, you feel like it’s always night."

I recently had a fantastic stay at St. James Court, A Taj Hotel. The service was excellent and the staff exceptionally attentive, ensuring that every need was met. The hotel’s location is superb, offering easy access to nearby attractions and a vibrant local atmosphere. The only downside was the limited natural daylight in the room, which was a bit disappointing. Despite this minor flaw, the overall experience was overwhelmingly positive. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future."
"It will be hard to find a better location in central London: The hotel is close to trains, restaurants, sights and shopping - everything is literally just around the corner. It is my experience that UK hotels are 1 star worse than what they advertise, and this is also the case with The Dilly, which in all other countries would "only" be a 4-star hotel. It has everything you expect from an older hotel - but NOT from a 5-star hotel: Walls and doors are paper thin, so you are bothered by noise from the hallway, noise from flushing toilets, etc. Our room was small but with great beds, the toilet is diminutive and stupidly arranged, you literally sit with the toilet roll on your thigh, and though trying we never succeeded in regulating the heat (the room was too hot). Breakfast is good with big variation e.g. you have the possibility of ordering freshly made omelet, making pancakes, etc., but it is a bit special, e.g. the cheese is not sliced, so you have to slice the cubes yourself, if you want cheese on your bread, why? The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and professional."
