"Arrived and no one had any idea which tent we were supposed to be in. Originally taken to one that had no made beds, litter, broken chairs and an inflatable dirty lazy spa (advised as a hot tub). Then got told to my relief wasn’t our tent. Instead we were taken to another tent that was transparent in a small field squished in with another 5-6 tents and had a dirty deflated paddling pool in the centre. "We had the most magical stay in this beautiful yurt near Barmouth. It was the perfect escape from the world – quiet, relaxing, and full of calm. Our boys, aged 4 and 7, had the best time swinging in the hammock, toasting marshmallows, drinking hot chocolate, and going on bug hunts.The yurt was clean, spacious, and cosy, with comfy beds for all of us. "The owner only sent entry instructions after i emailed the day before asking about them. Hotels.com said pets stayed for free but we were charged £7 per night. We couldn't get the shower to warm up. There were no instructions for anything in the cabin. The beds are very small doubles. Strangely there was no kettle in the lodge. It needs a lot of TLC. One positive is the setting is stunning. It's well overpriced for what you get. "
