"A lovely hotel. Very nice staff. However in the room the floor was not washed at there was an old puddle of some pop on the floor. There was was some marks on the pillow but this looked more like wear and tear. It did not bother us enough to contact the staff. The bathroom was large and spacious which was nice and good quality soaps "

"Very effective and friendly staff in the reception. Lovely spa and roof top pool. Nice and tasty breakfast. No laundry service available during weekends. Housekeeping did not replace towels and basics. Bathrobes were worn out (holes). "

"Great hotel next to the airport. Just opened so everything is nice. Small but nice room with a beautiful bathroom. Arrived when the hotel had their opening party, which they kindly had informed us about. Food and drinks for free, whats not to like. The food was amazing so would really chose Thai hotel again. "

"Staying at The Alan was such a delight! I arrived late, but Komal at the front desk was very welcoming and sweet. She even upgraded my room. Perfect beginning for my stay. Everyone was friendly, and the location was great. Room was spacious, had super cool decor and all in all everything was very positive. Big regards to James Sullivan and his whole team as well. Will defintely return, and I highly recommend staying at The Alan :)"

"Hotel is new and modern. Location is perfect, can easily walk into central. Also great public transport options, even though we used Uber. There’s a Costa and Sainsbury’s across the road if you need to grab some morning coffee or basics. Staff at hotel were welcoming and super helpful. The hotel room was nice clean and modern. Housekeeping came everyday and always gave us extra towels. The bed was comfy - but not the pillows. Downsides : - room was a bit cramped, not much floor space for luggage etc. - Lighting in both bathroom and room was not the best esp as we were 2 women who like good lighting for doing our makeup. - The bathroom also felt cramped, the flush on the toilet was positioned awkwardly and had to press a specific forceful way to flush. No air vents in bathroom. - In the room there is only one full length but not wide window, so natural light isn’t much. - The curtain didn’t fully close to the end so if you are someone who needs full darkness to sleep in then I would double check as my room mate did not sleep much due to the light coming in. - No water bottles were provided in the room. We went and purchased our own. If you are not a local to Manchester, be aware of the different taste and smell of tap water in the whole city, hence why we purchased our own. Other than these I would say the hotel is nice and worth the money if the above downsides are something that you can live with. I probably would book this hotel again if I was coming for 1 night "

Desværre var hotellet ved at blive renoveret mens jeg boede der, det betød at der ofte var meget larm om morgen, og det var svært at sove. Derudover så virkede persiennerne ikke, de kunne ikke rulles ned. Det betød at det var svært at holde lyset ude. "
