The setting and surrounding area is so pretty, plenty of parking spaces and an easy walk to the nearby bar and restaurant.
The staff are so welcoming and have time to talk to you, most important in my opinion
Checking in was easy. We booked a suite and we were very happy with it as it was stylish and also had everything we could possibly need including a Nespresso coffee maker!!

"Lovely hotel. Old fashioned feel and really nice decor. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was lovely. Only reframe is not spending more time in it to enjoy it. The area is very picturesque so if you’re visiting definitely check this out as it has a really lovely classy feel. "

"You get what you pay for, the room was clean, bed was comfortable, the en-suite was a good size with a powerful shower.
The facilities offered were brilliant with the kitchen being very clean and neat.

"The house is nothing special but the bed was comfortable to sleep in and it was in the location we needed to visit family. The kitchen smelled like something was rotting, I think the bins hadn't been disposed of properly before we arrived. There also weren't any towels even though the advert says there will be. It's an okay place to stay as long as you're not expecting luxury."
"My first time in Manchester and chose Pendulum Hotel by random (and reviews) and it fully complied with my expectations. A very nice hotel with standard above medium at a fair price - I would definitely choose this hotel again if going to Manchester another time. It has a nice distance to shopping streets and restaurants.
Only complaint would be the tea at the breakfast - it tasted like coffee :-)"
"Kimpton Clocktower is a classic & cool hotel with the benefit of having The Refuge just next door in the same building. The hotel is located in a perfect spot - the area is not too crowded, day to day shopping nearby & central Manchester is within walking distance. The hotel staff at the front desk is efficient & friendly & the rooms are kept clean at all times.
Also... do visit the Refuge... on ordinary days the food and drinks/cocktails are good... but... do also check out the events at the...
"A lovely hotel. Very nice staff. However in the room the floor was not washed at there was an old puddle of some pop on the floor. There was was some marks on the pillow but this looked more like wear and tear. It did not bother us enough to contact the staff. The bathroom was large and spacious which was nice and good quality soaps "

"I was only for one night (was attending a concert). In general, everything was good: staff was very nice and king, the apartment was spacious (One-Bedroom Apartment) location was great, the included breakfast was good as well. But in my experience the cleaning and condition of the rooms could be better. Our apartment was not very clean and in my opinion it seemed a little worn out. "

"Staying at The Alan was such a delight! I arrived late, but Komal at the front desk was very welcoming and sweet. She even upgraded my room. Perfect beginning for my stay. Everyone was friendly, and the location was great. Room was spacious, had super cool decor and all in all everything was very positive. Big regards to James Sullivan and his whole team as well. Will defintely return, and I highly recommend staying at The Alan :)"

I wish that it was possible to open a window though. Aircon is body unhealthy and a terrible waste of energy."
