"We had a lovely stay at this hotel and really couldn’t fault it all. The staff were lovely, warm, friendly, very kind & obliging, the room had all the facilities you needed, was very clean, quiet and had fabulous views. The food in the restaurant was very good & offered a nice selection. The continental breakfast was perfect (muesli, granola, mixed berries, yoghurt etc - all my favourite things) & they even provided oatmilk. Above all that it was exceptional value, so we’ll definitely come again...

"I was a bit hesitant staying at a Marston hotel due to previous experience bit this property restored that.
Staff from outset were welcoming and the rooms was better than expected.
Food in the restaurant was amazing.
Overall the 2 day stay was well worth it.

"God oplevelse. Hotellet var meget fint. Værelset var fint efter min mening. Sengen var perfekt. Eneste problem var området. "Fantastic locals pub with lots of atmosphere, great food. Can't speak highly enough of the village of Ashover, and the surrounding area.
The rooms are a little small but its what you expect for a pub of that age.
Definately a 5 star stay."
