"As a returning guest I was again not disappointed by this fabulous set up on the river. Everything we needed, great space to spend with the whole family, from the 1 yo to the 60 yo. The high chair and kids toys, games, colouring and cutlery make such a difference. The pizza oven a hit. Glorious views from the kitchen and balcony. A great base for us visiting Monarto and paddle steamer cruise. Will definitely come again."

"It was a great house for a group of people loved the area. some maintenance is needed - Toilet leaking on floor cistern broken ,running out of water while in shower ,9 people unable to use toilet in the morning the manager addressed this quickly but water pressure took a long time to come through ,a better pump is needed, shower fan not working ,a little garden maintenance .As a food safety supervisor I do not recommend leaving opened food in fridge and pantry ,you don't know how long it has...

"Short drive to Hahndorf. Opposite the main shops at Mount Barker with 3 supermarkets and lots of cafes. Kitchen is well equipped and there’s a combined washing machine and drier. Small outdoor clothes line in courtyard."

Lovely view out the windows, the alpacas so sweet, their eyes amazing. Great size TV (would love to have one that size). Also visited the sheep, they all came over to say hello. "We stayed here for my daughters wedding at Goldings winery So convenient as I was to find out as I had to race back to get something we forgot but it only took 6 mins there and back ! Plenty of space and bedrooms and Host was very accommodating with extra requests Hoghly recommended"

"The elevated cottage is right on the river with direct access to the water. You can sit on the deck, sipping gin & tonics, catch fish from the private jetty, watch water activity and the majestic sunsets, it’s superb. Recommend hiring a speed boat for multi-day stays if you have a family - Murray Bridge Speed Boat hire even delivers the boat direct to the private jetty!"

"Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult."

"I can only say that our eight night stay was wonderful. The apartment Sunset was beautifully appointed and had everything that we needed. We were welcomed with fresh eggs and some chocolates. We were in easy driving distance of some lovely towns and even made it to the Morphettville races. Our last day was simply spent in the apartment and the backyard. Beautiful and relaxing. Altogether a gem!"
