"A big house with funny special whimsicalities in a lovely town. Overall a great house, new kitchen, big bedrooms, however sevelral of the doors can't open/close correctly and some unfinished repairs. The town have a several great resturants, great food, fair prices. Would we come again ??? Yes :-)"

"Fantastic stay. I was celebrating with 13 other friends. The house was perfect for us, lovely hot tub and games area, kitchen facilities were well maintained with plenty of fridge space. The rooms were very clean on arrival and just as expected. Geert was very accomodating. Taxis for all of us into Ghent would have been €240 however a 30 min walk to the loc train station saved us a lot of money. "

"I had a few days to tour Belgiam during a trip to Germany and am so happy I found The Mini. The small space had everything my traveling companion and I needed. The animals on the farm entertained us each morning, especial the brother and sister Burmese Mountain dogs. The proximity to Ghent, Bruges and the coast made travel so convenient. We were even able to book an additional night when an uncharacteristic snow storm kept us from traveling back to Cologne safely. All of our questions and needs...

"We had a great stay in the house. It’s a very peaceful location surrounded by beautiful countryside. The house has two ‘fields’ for gardens at the rear with a mown lawn area near to the house with a patio area allowing you to sit outside for meals. "The owner entered the room without permission and without a shirt - his usual attire- and began yelling because we turned on the heat in the kitchen (a wood stove) in order to have heat in the top floor room. He said it would cost us 10 EU per day to have heat at night. The kitchen was so filthy with a rancid greese odor we could not cook anything. The room was also very dirty. You enter an unassuming gate to a narrow path through a garden to enter ... and as you reach the house, you are transported to a tranquil, rural setting with views of the garden and undeveloped pasture behind that is simply surreal. "Very nice and central area, it was easy to get in, you get to codes for the main door and your room door. Wifi works well, it’s a nice space, everything you need is there. Very good value for the price, only thing it could have been a bit cleaner but no big deal. "
