"English fisherman after carp. Not an easy site to fish 3 x 13 ft rods, but managed.eventually caught a 10lb 2 Oz common carp. Watching the birds, turtles, squirrels and a cheeky chipmunk was entertaining. Overall a pleasant experience. Thanks to our hosts."

"It's remote--25 min from downtown Franklin-- but accessible. Def go to the red Byrd coffee place in Leipers Fork. Fireplace is not reliable. But the house is great for 2-3 couples plus up to 6 kids, or more. The kids loved the yard. Lots of games available. Good kitchen."

"Our stay at this quaint and comfortable home was wonderful! This home had plenty of room with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The view and yard are wonderful with a view of the river and a lovely covered patio and fire pit. There is a steep hill leading to the house so it’s not boat friendly. The neighbor is wonderful and allowed us to park our boat at their house. I wouldn’t change a thing about this home, we really enjoyed it."

"Perfect place for my husband and I as we’re in town to celebrate a family wedding. Mule Town is quiet and tranquil. Mornings were filled with walks around the property with our dogs and sitting on the front porch swing enjoying fresh brewed coffee. "This wasn’t far the cutest vacation rental that I have ever stayed at! I was so surprised when I walked through the door. The outside of the farmhouse is nice and as pictured but when you walk into the house it’s incredibly large. I was surprised at how expansive the rooms were and how high the ceilings were. I felt like I was on a very posh movie set. I highly recommend this home and we hope to be back next year."

"We came for Grandson’s HSbgraduation and birthday party. We also visit dbFralin and Mashville bookstores. She ch a great place to stay. Quiet with only lightening bugs flashing. Owls hooting, 14 year cicadas mating and bluebirds nesting. Cabin was excellent comfortable and spacious. Homelike feeling and many antiques to look at in house. We loved it!"

"The Hargrove House was a great place to rest each night after spending 3 days exploring the region! The back house (with loft twins) is probably more suited as bunk space for kids/teens. It’s much smaller (queen bed) and lacks needed luggage/hanging space for adult couples traveling together. Unfortunately, the back patio string lights never worked for us either - but overall we enjoyed our stay! "

"We had a large family group at Lyric Lodge for a week. The property, including the home itself, pool, and all the rest was just what we needed.
