"Cleaning staff no complaints, they do good job in the rooms and common areas, the issue is none of the apartments have air conditioning, even though, they provide you fans. When checking-in, because I had 4 rooms, they did not provide me these rooms in the same side, and they had available, they should prioritize when someone has more than one room, to put them together, I did the reservation 4 months ago, but they don’t plan it. "I booked the room through Expedia, which routed me through VRBO.As the day approached, I realized I hadn't gotten any info from VRBO regarding check-in instructions, etc. Typically, this is very detailed before-hand via email and text. We arrived at a very derelict-looking property about 6pm and there weren't any signs of life. The office was locked. I knocked, but through the glass I could see there was no one inside. "The property has a great location. The parking spot was very convenient. The host was very responsive every time I had a question. Laundry room on site was great. The space was large but there wasn’t much of any amenities inside the apartment but there was enough to survive a couple days. Great price for the location and space."

"When I checked in, the nice lady at the desk told me my reservation was listed under a different person. I showed her my reservation, my itenary #, all of the info she requested. She told me Expedia did not send the info to them correctly so she would not check me. She did offer me a room with a discount for the bluder but hiked up the price $100 more than the expedia reservation. This is a terrible adminstrative process, she blamed me for not calling their front desk to check if they received...

"This is probably the nicest place in which I have stayed in my thirty or so years of traveling to San Diego. And Rico was a superb host. But I didn’t have to ask him for much, as he provided an abundance of sundries and drinks. Highest recommendation."
