"Pheasant Hill Cabin is a cozy place to stay. We loved hanging out on the deck overlooking the tall trees. The neighborhood was quiet and a great place to walk our dog. We especially appreciate that it's a dog friendly accommodation since we love to bring our dog with us on vacation. We also loved the short drive into town to go out to eat. We will definitely be staying at this cabin again. "

"My wife and I come to the San Diego area to watch our daughter play soccer. We opted to stay out of the busy city and in this tiny home. This was our first time in a tiny home and we loved it! We'd wake up and have a coffee poolside and enjoy the views, go to the beach and soccer games during the day, and then come back and relax in the tiny house the rest of the night. "Our family stayed here for a weekend fishing trip to Lake Cuyamaca (about a 10 minute drive from the cabin). It was absolutely beautiful and so tranquil. Our family had everything we could ask for in terms of supplies and “at home” comforts in the cabin. The host was great and very responsive. We especially enjoyed sitting out in the patio area with the old California oaks and the other pretty trees throughout the yard. Make sure you go out and drink in the starry skies at night, too. "It is a quaint little rustic cabin tucked away in the woods. The deck is lovely spot to spend a morning drinking some coffee and watching the variety of birds that fly by. I had an issue with my truck and was able to quickly communicate with John about staying an extra day and even getting to check out a little later, closer to when my truck would be fixed.Definitely recommend staying here!"

"The beds were comfortable. We loved the coziness and warmth of the fireplace. The stained glass windows are so pretty and the views are gorgeous. The cleaning crew could do a better job. "We had a great weekend celebrating my sisters 40th birthday. This house was was perfect. We loved everything about it, especially the big windows! We loved learning the story behind the home and the Littlehale family. It was the perfect get away. Would definitely stay at this home again in the future! "

"As we pulled into the driveway of the A-Frame and saw the welcoming sign that said "You're Here!", snow began to dust my windshield. This quickly became a hailstorm which gave way to a heavy snowfall. Giant flakes fluttered to the ground as we explored our new digs and my kids and I quickly headed out to build a snowman, The retreat must be packed with renters in the warmer months.
