"Reception ... the worst service I have ever encountered. Roof terrace is very small and therefore very crowded. Room doors to the corridors does not insulate sound very well, you can hear people having conversations when passing your room."

"Go for the location alone! The patio is right on Mission Beach, directly on the boardwalk, and the views are fantastic. There’s also a wall A/C unit in the upstairs bedroom, which was a nice bonus if you want a cool place to relax or sleep after a day at the beach."

"Really nice place and location. Rental is well done and kept very nice. Only negative to be aware of is that parking is shared with other units so parking in front of the rental is not always available. But we never had too much trouble finding parking on the street nearby."

"There was no air conditioning and the property is directly across from a noisy bar, so you can choose to have all the windows closed and be hot or open the windows and be unable to sleep. The beds were futons with no sheets. The kitchen table and chairs were patio furniture. The sense of the place is the host putting in the bare minimum effort. It was a very disappointing experience and I recommend people instead stay at one of the many other places in the area."

"The location was excellent! It is right on the beach. The windows were difficult to see thru, probably a result of the harsh ocean environment. There was a hand written sign on the screen, ‘Do not open’. It would be nice to open the screen to get a clear unobstructed view of the ocean. The curtains on the front of the unit were secured with clips, but several were broken, so they looked a little tacky. The host was great to work with and answered our questions before we arrived and helped us...

"The location was perfect for me. Coffee shops, restaurants, and grocery store within 3 minute walk. Beach 1 minute walk. View and ocean sounds from bedroom and living room. It was secure and safe. The parking place made a great difference. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy San Diego and beach living."
