"A very pleasing stay the only downside was the 4 flight's of stairs to get to the room. The toilet seat was loose and a few things in the rooms needing improving like the kitchen lino that wasn't laid properly but above all a nice hotel with great views of Douglas Harbour."

"We were very comfortable in the beautiful apartment which had stunning views. We were well looked after. However, we left very early in the morning and couldn’t work out how to get hot water out of the shower! If it had been at a more respectable time, we would have asked for help, but it was far too early to summon anyone. Clear instructions would have helped in this situation. Overall we were very pleased with our short stay. "

"Great location. Parking space on car park to the rear. Spotlessly clean. William the receptionist / caretaker was excellent. Has everything you need. However, it sells itself as a luxury apartment and it doesn’t live up to it. Eg. In the bedroom there is only one bedside table and lamp. On one corner of the bed there is only six inches in which to get past. The wardrobe is not great quality and the sliding door comes of it’s rail easily. ( can also be put back easily but.. ) in the living...

"The property is your typical Victorian BnB and only a block back from the Promenade. The staff were very polite and attentive and the included breakfast was good. The rooms are surprisingly spacious, although as is typical for buildings this old the walls and ceilings are pretty thin. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs.
