"A former coaching house with very friendly owner, Susan. Perfectly adequate for a short stay. We know the area well and did know in advance that it’s not “Castle Douglas”. Others travellers should be aware! "

"Expectations were high with a score of 9.2 but I was disappointed. Room a bit pokey, very odd matress & bedding, terrible shower. Decor throughout a bit tired. Residents bar very limited and nothing on draught. Breakfast was ok. On the plus side, staff were all very nice, location is quiet with a nice park opposite and there's enough parking. I'd stay again if in Girvan but can't say I'd look forward to it."

"The most beautiful and most unique property to explore this part of the country. Margaret and Malcolm, as always, were so welcoming and provide top class accommodation with the most stunning views. Tiffy, our dog, was made most welcome with a lovely bed and treat bag. Such a safe and protected space for her. Will definitely be back for our third visit! "

"Comfortable apartment overall well maintained. Parking good. Close to Turnberry hotel, 8-10 min walk. Kitchen appliances suited our needs. Heating worked well. Bathroom facilities worked for us. En-suite shower thermostat was temperamental. Visited Culzean, Turnberry hotel for spa and afternoon tea. Local pub/restaurants such as Souter’s, Wildings, Balkenna, Anchorage in Dunure, Saffy’s and Wellingtons in Ayr. Coop in Maybole and Asda in Girvan useful for provisions. Clare very responsive and...
