"Interesting experience. There is no on-site staff, but the building is in excellent (restored) condition. You let yourself in with the door code and then you’re on your own.
The on-site restaurant is not operating, so we drove a couple miles for dinner. We made breakfast from what was on site.
Thankfully there was no noise from the railroad outside.

"Caveat: this is a traveller's rest-type motel. Zero frills, just a comfortable secure room with a comfortable bed and working shower. No monogrammed 1000 thread count sheets, no turn down service, just evidence of pride of ownership and recent renovation. I will absolutely stay here again. The "town" is a truck stop, but this is a great place to catch up on sleep. "

"Despite the cost and promise of WiFi and continental breakfast we were left with spotty slow WiFi at best and the breakfast was a selection of sugar filled cereal products, not actually a continental breakfast. The pool was closed, and looked like it had been for a while."
"Stumbled on this place following a long drive. This place is spectacular. Very nicely restored. Built in 1907. Every detail including the furniture and decor is from the era. Great history! A view of Mt Hood. Breatfast was included. Can't say enough. Would definitely stay there again. "
