"Overall the room was roomy and clean and the bathroom was huge and the shower was great. The pool area is super small and doesn’t seem like it fits the hotels capacity. We stayed on the 4th floor, right underneath the pool and we had a super strange smell present in the room at all times. It was a mix of chlorine and mold. "Love this resort!! The beach is great can snorkel with sea turtles right in front of the palace. The pools are amazing the rooms are very big great for a family of four. The food at the restaurants and buffet were excellent. Wish they wouldn’t have trimmed all the Palm trees at the palace so there was more shade like the rest of the beach. "We have stayed at this property multiple times over the years and this time we noticed the property has not been maintained well . The pool deck and lounge chairs definitely need attention. "Be very cautious upon arrival at check in the hotel sets you up with a person promising gifts if we attend a short talk about some hotel discount. When attending it appears that this is a kind of “timeshare” scam asking us to pay a whopping 11,000USD and we are not allowed to see anything or think about it. Looking at reviews later of “leading vacation club” shows that it is a big scam owned by the hotel and a lot of people has paid this amount. The pools was full of algae’s during our 1 week...

"We had a nice visit here at the Melia in Cozumel. I would give it a 9 out of 10 rating. As others have mentioned, I would recommend upgrading to the Level experience. Better food options and other amenities, plus a bigger room. Place was very clean, room was nice and chilly, and everyone was exceptionally friendly. Overall the food was quite good, but I was disappointed by one thing. Both of the hotels offer entrees where you can upgrade and get something a little more expensive or exotic....

"Flot hotel og rigtig god beliggenhed med hyggelig park og natur. 2 pool områder. Dog meget stort resort. Stranden var ikke som forventet og mindre end på billederne. Grumset vand og meget tang. All inklusive fungerer. Let at dykke fra mv. Idet de har egen bro. Dykining er forholdsvis dyrt på stedet. Undersøg evt. Andre muligheder. Aircon virkede ikke i fitness- stort minus. Husk at booke alacarte restaurant ved min. 3 overnatninger. "
