"We really liked this place. We arrived earlier than check-in time but got the room when arriving. We were welcomed by a very sweet and smiling staff member who also gave us a great introduction to the city, were to go and what to see. The place is perfectly located in walking distance to downtown. The house is beautiful and the breakfast was good. Our room was beautiful in antique stile but a little worn. We would stay here again."

"Staff was very attentive. Breakfast cooked to order and snacks and iced tea and water throughout day were also great. Understanding that the house is very old and quite lovely it still needs somes TLC. We stayed downstairs and carpet needs replacing and rooms are musty. I was very stuffed up when in my room as I am very allergic to mold/dust so assume that either mold or dust was the cause?? Also our tub filled up with water when we used the shower which I reported and they looked into but...

"Host greets you with some home brewed beer and some fine socializing before escorting you to your room. The upstairs cosists of 3 separate rentable bedrooms that lock. 2 shared bathrooms and a public shared gathering area. Aside from unlimited tap beer, there was a non alcoholic root beer on tap. And a fridge in the public area stocked with bottled water, Gatorade and fruit punch. A comfortable front porch to sip your beer on. And one block walking distance to everything the waterfront part...

"This was an artistically renovated older farm home. Very colorful and funky style. Improvements and character were underway. The caretakers were very friendly and sharing. The breakfast was made from ingredients grown or raised on their working farm. Would stay again. Very eclectic place. "

"We had a lovely large room at the Inn. The area around the Inn was quiet, as residential. The restaurant located within was very nice with great food selections and friendly staff. Even the housekeeping staff were very accommodating and made our stay very pleasant. We would definitely return to the Inn at I’ON should we be in the area of Charleston again. "
