" We have stayed here before and we’re looking forward to our stay for the evening. When we arrived we were not informed that the hotel was under renovation. The pool and tiki bar were shut down . We did spend a few hours at the beach and they had music in the hotel lounge that evening which was nice . We were looking forward to pool time , I wish we had been made aware of the construction. I suggest anyone booking in the near future check in on the process of this . They are still charging...

"Overall it's a very nice historic hotel. Beautiful on the inside and breakfast was delicious. My only issue with it was the way the balcony was advertised. I was under the impression that everyone had access to the shared balcony space, but this wasn't the case. Only certain rooms on the 2nd floor did and we were put on the top floor, the 4th floor. When selecting the room from Expedia, it should have made it clear the rooms with access to the balcony and the rooms without access. Not sure how...

"We stayed in the south building and it seemed newly renovated. Love the “beach” Colors in the room along with the small kitchenette and the double bathroom sink (with one outside the toilet area). Very clean, staff were attentive, beach was terrific! Location was very good too. My only suggestion - there is a $40/day resort fee. That SHOULD include beach chairs or the use of bikes. While I appreciated the ability to park and the other small perks included in the fee - most of those are standard...
