"WE ENJOYED STAYING HERE. IT WAS CONVENIENT TO ALL OF THE CASTLES, GARDENS AND OTHER SITES AROUND STIRLING, UP TO PERTH AND EASTWARD. THE HOUSE IS LOCATED ON THE OWNERS FARM. IT WAS PEACEFUL AND QUIET. IT HAD ALL THE AMENITIES LISTED IN THE SITE. IT WAS A GREAT PLACE TO RELAX AFTER A BUSY DAY TOURING. WHILE BEING IN A RURAL SETTING, YOU ARE CLOSE TO ROADS TO GET TO ALL THE THINGS THERE ARE TO DO. THE EDINBURGH AIRORT IS ONLY 40 MINUTES AWAY."

Great experience and my two children loved that it was remote and that there was such an array of animals on the farm. Also easy to get to the local town to eat/shop. "

"From start to finish our experience was 10/10. Craig, Carol and Eve were exceptional hosts and even though they reside next to the farm house you don't feel uncomfortable or overlooked - highly recommend booking here, you won't be disappointed! Due to staying a week we ran out of logs which wasn't an issue, Craig happily stocked us back up without question. We enjoyed the house, the peacefulness, the views and the wildlife. "This is comfort camping, with great facilities in a communal area specific for those using yurts or huts, everything for cooking, reading, games etc. The toilet /shower room is located at the main house; toilet facilities are not next/ensuite to the accommodation. Good written information pack. You are generally off-grid with no phone signal; there is WiFi but not fast. The Estate gives you free reign to wander anywhere, understanding you are respectiveful of nature. There is an honesty shop to...

"Our stay at High Clachan couldnt have been any better and totally met all expectations! The house is stunning, loads of room for all the family and fully equipped. Beautiful views, paths and gardens with the added bonus of a play area near by with trampoline and zipline. Hosts couldnt have been more welcoming or friendly if they tried! Definitely on our list to visit again and would highly recommend! Its worth it for the homemade brownies alone!"

"This house has it all. Beautiful garden with hot tub and bbq hut. Inside the garden room with log burner was a great place to hang out . Only 5 minutes drive to Hawick so we went every day to do walks and pick up groceries. We were able to cook a full Christmas dinner in the well stocked kitchen and enjoyed it in spacious dining room."

"A wonderful stay visiting family and friends in and around Glasgow. House was super if a little quirky (boars head /antlers) and had everything we needed. I would say you do need a car but Strathaven has plenty of shops as well as a super bakers in Taylor’s. Hosts always ready to help. 👍"
