"We loved our week at Shepherds rest! Ilona was lovely and answered questions quickly and was so good to check in periodically. The house was clean and comfortable. The scariest part of the stay was driving through the tunnel when coming and going but we were driving a 9 passenger van so a small car would have no problems at all. There are beautiful walks right outside the door and it was peaceful and quiet. Lovely place to stay!"

"We stayed here for 2 nights and we were very pleased with the property. It was clean, cosy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. 10 min walk into aviemore and 12 min drive to landmark adventure forest. The host communicted well, confirmed our booking with a personal text messge and contacted us on the day of arrival to ensure everything went smoothly. Excellent accommodation."

"This unit is in a wonderful location for visiting Ft William and the surrounding area. Our family of four adults was very comfortable in the space. The unit is clean and well equipped. "

"Host Matt was very accommodating, place was very comfortable, clean. We stayed nine days and travelled in every direction from there. Close to town for groceries. Was really nice to be able to come “home” every evening and relax…and Matt checked in with us to see if we needed anything. Jenny, Tom, Frank and Nancy"

"Excellent comfortable home from home, very well equipped, spacious and spotlessly clean and it suited us well. Great location just on the outskirts of Aviemore and also good dog walking opportunities. Easily accessible parking, with a nice fenced dog friendly garden and a variety of seating opportunities – we were lucky with the weather and even had breakfast in the garden in March! - we loved our stay."

"We stayed for a family get together for my husbands 70th birthday. What a wonderful house. Plenty of room to accommodate us all. After a full day out it was lovely to sit round the table and play games . The beds were so comfortable. Everything was of a high standard. From cutlery to bedding etc. The views from the house were absolutely beautiful and the position of the house made it so central to many places. We cannot fault it what a great base to stay in. "What a fantastic stay, we loved Tall Pines Apartment. The location is beautiful and very quiet - just what we were looking for. The apartment was very clean, nicely furnished, and warm and comfortable. I had read one previous review saying that the shower wasn't very warm, but this wasn't the case for us. We didn't use the downstairs ensuite shower, but the upstairs shower in the main bathroom was definitely hot and powerful. The kitchen was well equipped and had almost everything you can...

"We had an excellent time at this property. 4 stars for cleanliness as windows and skirtings were dusty and a few cracked tiles on the kitchen floor but otherwise very clean and well presented. Summer house could be doing with a little TLC as the doors don't open and a couple of glass/Perspex panels missing from them. House has 2.5 bathrooms, not 1.5 that's in the description.I would definitely recommend this property to friends and would consider returning should we ever require such a large...

"The accommodations were great, however there was a lot of noise from the street and the windows didn’t seal properly. Not a big issue, but could be better. Staff and food in the restaurant was excellent. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area. "

"Ved check-in var værten mest interesseret i at få os til at udfylde et skema om morgenmad - helt ned til detaljen om vi ville have cornflakes eller müsli. Det føltes helt forkert at skulle udspørges på den måde, når vi mest var interesseret i værelset og at få wifi-adgang. Han glemte helt at give os koden. Morgenmaden var kedelig, værten stresset under servering. Værelset var småt og vandtrykket på badeværelset var så dårligt, at vi knap nok kunne vaske shampoo uden. Vil ikke anbefale dette hotel. "
