I have had a wonderful stay at the Ocean Riviera Paradise - El Besos Section. I had the pleasure of enjoying privilege amenities during my stay, which felt like VIP treatment. Check-in was straightforward and they did us the service of delivering our baggage to our rooms via cart. We had a Butler assigned to us, Lily, as a Privilege amenity to handle everything from reservations to recommendations and advice. Lily was a rockstar, she even helped me get preferential rates when I decided to extend my stay a few days.
The staff across the resort are all very friendly. There are too many names to remember, and I really have to hand it to our swim-up bartenders especially, but I was most recently helped by Alexis in the privilege Lounge. As a waiter he was exceptional at tending to my glasses before they were empty and overall timeliness.
All of the meals (and drinks) I've had have been wonderful. The room service is very thorough with twice daily visits to turn the room, and while I have only run into them once in my 5 days here, the hotel provides door tags if you'd like to reduce the frequency of room service.
The resort is quite large. There is a trolley that goes up and down the central road - however the frequency leaves a bit to be desired so if you have mobility issues you should look into other accommodations such as scooter rental. The size makes plenty of room for pools and dining options though, and the walking has helped keep me in shape, so no complaints.
