"We had a wonderful stay at the Shandaken Inn - it really exceeded our expectations. The property is lovely and the inn is extremely well maintained and comfortable. Everything you need is right there. The outdoor dining area looks out to the open space and the surrounding mountains. "Fabulous stay, my daughter and I were sad to leave even though we were headed to the beach from the Inn. Friendly inn keepers and cooks. Yummy breakfasts and a cozy room. We stayed in The Library. "Beautiful room and home, very clean!! Loved the amenities too. Amazing bathroom. Only issue was that the walls were very thin and we could hear everything other guests were doing. Since there are no TVs in the rooms, it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop at times. We felt like we had to whisper inside our room. Perfect for a quiet getaway but bring earplugs just in case there’s a snorer in the next room."

"Carole's was well located and comfortable. Communication was good before and during the stay. Carole is very friendly and helpful with ideas of where to go We did have a couple of issues, the TV didn't work and despite her best efforts Carole couldn't get it fixed as it was a weekend. Also rather oddly some guests left without breakfast. Part of the charm of a B+B is meeting other guests over breakfast. "
