Within walking distace to all downtown sights. Also within walking distance to trainstation and bus station

This is a hidden treasure in Copenhagen. It is quite modern in its appearance. Very clean and well taken care of. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was very well done. I would recommend this hotel.

“Modern coziness”

The lobby of the hotel looked almost too hip for me when I first walked in, so I was very surprised that the staff was so warm and welcoming. The hotel was very clean and very stylish. The room was a double (which was two single beds pushed together) but the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was a shower-only but very nice. It was in a great location because it was right by city square and the main shopping pedestrian district (The Stroget).

“Fully satisfied”

Impressed with staff, comfort and design. Even though it is in a busy part of the city, I was not bothered by noise. I missed having a restaurant (there is only breakfast offered).

“Wonderful hotel near the center of Copenhagen!”

A friend and I stayed at The Square in April. It was a block or two from Tivoli and very convenient to restaurants, nightlife and coffee (a Starbucks-style coffeeshop is next door). They have high-speed internet in the room, but for a fee. The styling is modern and very Scandinavian and the staff was excellent in their recommendations of activities. Do not hesistate to stay here!

“great location - center of the city”

Location is the best thing about this hotel! Clean, modern hotel. Rooms are smaller than in US but standard size for European hotel. Bathrooms are new. Hotel is located across from Tivoli, the city square, the main shoping/walking street. Easy walk to the museums and castles. Staff efficient and helpful. Close to resturants, cafes and night club. 2 block walk from central train station, no need for a taxi.

“Perfect location from which to explore Copenhagen”

The Hotel is perfectly located; Central Station and all the sights are within walking distance. The rooms are clean and well appointed; the only slight downside was the choice of TV channels/lack of on demand available. The staff were very efficient and friendly and we'd definately go back.

“Great Value and Luxury too”

This hotel is modern and spacious - our standard rooms were very large by European standards with lots of wardrobe space and a seating area as well as a sleeping area. The bathroom was very impressive with a full bath as well as a shower. The hotel is very centrally located, right across from Town Hall Square. The only negative is all the construction that is going on in Copenhagen at the moment which made it a little noisy during the day, but this is not to take away from the hotel. Security in the hotel is exemplary, key cards are required for access to elevators and stairways. We did not try the breakfast buffet as we found a bakery around the corner offering a full breakfast for just 49DKK. Great access to all the tourist sites in Copenhagen, just one block from Tivoli.

We loved The Square - (1) excellent location within walking distance of just about anything, (2) great service, clean, sleek, modern, and (3) wonderful breakfast buffet.
